Ps4 disc drive issues

I'm almost sure that the plastic cover that is removable is made incorrectly on some versons of the ps4. My ps4 since I got it would eject the disc, the fan would go into the highest mode, you could hear the disc drive vibrate when starting up and it would get hotter than it should. When I first got it it would work in the horizontal position but after awhile it would only keep the disc in while positioned vertiacally. Today I had gotten home after bringing my console to my brothers house last night. The console had been off for a period of around 19 hours and I carry it in a laptop case that straps it in so it doesn't get jostled being bumped. I set everyrhing up like normal and went to power it on and nothing would happen. I tried multiple outlets, 2 different power cords, unplugged everything and reinserted the cables making sure they were proper and still nothing. Then I thought about the problems I've had prior so I looked up online and nothing. Every forum said my power sup ply was dead and to send it in. So thinking I was screwed went to get my disk out manually before I sending it to Sony for repair. I took off the plastic cover and guess what? It works 100% fine. The fan doesn't go into full mode anymore, I can't hear the disk drive vibrating, the disk has not ejected even 1 time so far and it stays cooler because the fans are now able to function properly. I don't know how many people I have witnessed get told to send it in for repairs because such and such was dead when the whole time it was a faulty plastic cover piece putting pressure on the wrong part of the console. Now please if anyone is having this problem try this first and let me know. Taking that part off of your console does not void any warranties so it's no risk to you. Let me know if it works because if this is indeed the problem that's a little embarrassing sony couldn't or wouldn't tell peoplease the problem. "Oh heating causes the plastic to expand and put pressure on a censor so just put it vertically and it will work." That's an actual response my friend got when hers started doing the same thing. So it's one of 2 things here. 1. Either they knew the problem and thought they could get away thinking everyone would assume it's a hardware issue thus charging peoplease that didn't have warranties for a repair which would consist of nothing or 2. They didn't know the real issue even though they knew about plasting putting pressure on a censor from "heating up" so told people to put it vertically because the pressure is then changed on the system but letting the issue go possibly causing further damage and putting stress on the console decreasing the overall lifespan. So let me know what you guys think because it sucks having to spend money sending your ps4 in and waiting when you could just remove a plastic piece. Sounds faster and cheaper to me.
