I have two PS4 controllers, one of which shipped with the system.
The one that I bought separately works like a charm,
The one that shipped with the system is a hassle.
The controller will not connect to the PS4 without a cable.
The controller does not need to REMAIN plugged in- but it must be physically plugged in to connect.
I.E. Physically turn on PS4 > Connect controller to cable to PS4 > press the PS button on the controller > unplug > play
As opposed to
Press PS button on controller > play
Factory reset didn't help either. The issue began after physically connecting PS4 controller to PS3 to use as extra racing controller (within intended usage)
