I plugged my HDD into my computer just to see if anything was on it. (it's an internal HDD) However, it said that it was setting up the device for around 30 minutes, with no change. So I just wanted to know, could I just out this HDD in my PS4 and have it work, or will I need to (somehow get it to open and) format it? Any help would be appreciated, and if you know what to do, please give me the full list of steps.
