Good day all,
I'm convinced I already posted this, but for some reason I cannot find it...
Anyway, long story short. I've been having sudden problems with my PS4. I bought it on launch day 2013 and since then have had no issues.
Lately it's been crashing to the point it's almost unplayable.
I've tried to do a full re-initialize from safe mode off current software from USB with no luck. Sometimes it completely pops and shuts down. (You hear the relay click). I then have to hit the power button twice and it reboots in safe mode and then back into normal mode.
Other times I'll get crashes that shut down the app or game only (system stays on) with the following error codes CE-36329-3 or CE-34878-0....
Sometimes it will work again for 5 mins, other times for 3 hrs. But it seems to be getting shorter and shorter
I've tried to change to an older 1tb laptop drive but it crashed just the same.
I'm hoping someone can assist. I'm not afraid to open it up and try to fix, I just need guidance what to look at.
Other than that, my only option now is to send it into Sony, but the $150 charge seems a little ridiculous considering it will be that plus what ever repairs...
