A few days ago, we had a lightning storm by our house, and the power went out for a split second, forcing my ps4 off which was in rest mode. At the time, I had an Ethernet cable connived from my router to it which worked fine before the ps4 got shut off by the storm. I've tried all the usually things like resetting my router to default settings, different cables, restarting the ps4 multiple times, etc. but nothing seems to be working. The thing is though, while the wifi works fine, it won't even detect that there's a lan cable in it. I think the Ethernet port might have gotten fried by the power outage or something. Is there anything else I could try? I get good speeds with my wifi, but I'd rather use a lan cable because of the more stable connection. Any thoughts?
