For some reason my PS4 is getting slow connection speeds when I'm directly connected via Lan cable. I'm getting fluctuating speeds between 19Mbps-25Mbps download speeds and 2Mbps-2.1Mbps upload speeds. I have Comcast Xfinity and I have the fastest speed plan available for my area which is 150Mbps and I have the latest and best router available the Arris 2.4GHz/5GHz combo router. So there's no reason why it should be going this slow. Then I also have 4 other devices a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+, Apple iMac and a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 that are all on the 2.4GHz wireless network and a smart TV on the 5GHz all coming from the same router. The Samsung Galaxy and Surface Pro 3 are booth picking up 144Mbps, while the iMac and the smart TV are picking up 150Mbps. Also most of the time only two devices are on and being used so not all the speed is getting eaten up.
On top of the slow speeds on the PS4 I'm also having problems playing games, and watching stuff on Netflix and Hulu. Games seem to lag and sometimes freeze because of the internet connection . Then Netflix and Hulu also lags and also take a lot longer to load the pictures in the tiles for when you're scrolling to find a movie. If I were to load Netflix or Hulu or any other device I mentioned I have there would be no such a problem and everything will load extremely fast.
So why is my problem occurring? And how can I fix this if there's even a fix for this? Thanks in advance for all your help and support!
