So it basically started when my brother stepped on the power source for the PS3 causing it to fall 1 foot and hit the floor and unplug the PS3 incorrectly. When I started it back on it said "The system software cannot be run correctly" and the options on how to fix it. So the first thing it said was to press the PS button to try to restart the system. I did yet nothing happened just a black screen. I unplug the PS3 and did the other option by updating the system software via usb stick. I formatted the usb to make it compatible then made the folder PS3 ->folder UPDATE -> and inserted the latest update (v 4.80) and plugged it into the PS3. I first try with safe mode and choose option 6 which is "System Update" yet once I do the system freezes or stops and I can't choose other options so I unplug it again. So I try it again without safe mode by pressing the PS button then the Start+Select button and this time it works and it starts updating but then it freezes and stops at 74%. I wait a little, nothing so I unplug it. I start over, this time stopping at 73%. I try again it stops at 75%. I now have no idea on how to fix this problem so if you guys have any suggestions please tell me
