Iv'e had two controllers for my PS4 for so long that I screwed up the USB charging ports on both of them, and also the original controller that came with the PS4 wouldn't turn on anymore, but that is not what I'm worried about. So I went out and bought one of those dual charging decks that charge the controllers from the bottom of the controller, but since that is the only way I can charge them, I had to get another controller to use when I charge the one that works. So I went out to buy a used one from a game store that I normally go to. So I went home to try out the controller, and it worked for about 15 minutes until it went unresponsive; like the controller was still on, the light bar was still changing colors because I was getting shot at, and the audio was still playing through my ear buds which were plugged in, but I could not move my character, and it wouldn't even allow me to go to the home screen of the PS4, so I thought if I pressed the reset button on the back of the controller, that it would start to work, and it worked for another 15 minutes but then it did the same thing. So I returned the controller and traded it for another used controller, but when I got home, the new controller did the same thing as the previous controller. Now the thing is, this only happens with the used controllers I buy, which I'm pretty sure are new controllers just put in a display bag because they feel new and are in very good condition. My other controller works perfectly fine and doesn't have any of these problems. I even had a friend come over and bring his controller and it worked perfectly fine, his controller was the original controller that came with his PS4, which he got around the same time as mine. So I have no idea why this happens. I don't know if the controllers are a new type or more improved controller that Sony replaced it's old stock with that doesn't work properly with my PS4. Can someone explain.
