Ps3 black screening, reseting isnt working!

I have had my ps3 since I was 11 (approximately 7 years) and I have never had any problems.. Until now.
My ps3, when I turn it on, only shows me a black screen. I use the standard cables (red, yellow, white) so I tryed unplugging them blowing in them and plugging them back in but was still met with the black screen. My ps3 had been working perfectly fine hours earlier so I'm baffled by this.
Also, I tryed the resetting (turning it off and holding the power button for the beeps but alas, you guessed it, black screen still.

-no sound
-resetting doesn't work
-cables are good
-everything's plugged in correctly
-same tv I've played on before hand
-was playing perfectly fine earlier



Please help me! I very well will die in this **bleep** hole of a small town with out being able to game!
