I have a 320GB PS3. Two years ago I had to replace the cd drive as it was not reading a single game disk. Now the problem had resurfaced. I have noticed that only the game cds do not work. I have updated the software, but the console is still not running any game cds. Even before replacing my drive, the game would lag, hang and certain times the memory could not be read by the game. I had replaced the drive with a brand new genuine playstation one and I have thoroughly maintained my PS3. Is this a software or a hardware error? If a software error, then how can I fix this?
