PS3 destiny update 1.21 give me error code 800233EF, solution?

Hello PS Support!

I recently purchase the The Taken King legendary bundle on hard copy for PS3, and have been attempting to install it, but every time I try it gets a majority of the way through the first of 9 sets of updates and then crashes with the error code. 

I don't know if its my wireless net or the old console, but ive never had problems like this before.

PS: In the case that I can get the 8Gb download to update (Which is how big it is), could I get a hard copy of the update and just transfer it to the ps3 harddrive and use it that way? (troubleshooting thoughts)
