My ps4 refuses to connect to the internet. Everything was working fine yesterday. I was downloading the GTA 5 updates because I hadn't yet played the game on my ps4. The update was about halfway done when a notification popped up saying that the downloading had stopped and that I was disconnected from the internet. Ever since then my system won't connect. It will optain the IP address but as soon as that's done it pops up saying that the system had failed to connect to the internet with error code ce-33986-9 which as I understand is an endless proxy loop. It also says that my internet router or provider may be preventing me from connecting. I've read quite a few threads on all kinds of sites and tried everything that they said and nothing works. Everything else in my house connects perfectly fine to my WiFi. Why all of a sudden does my ps4 not want to? The most recent system update was a few days ago and everything was fine up until about 1 pm yesterda . I even did a factory reset on the system because some people said that it worked for them, but alas, nothing. I've always chosen PlayStation over Xbox but this is seriously pissing me off. Sony needs to get their **bleep** together. Any help that anybody could offer would be greatly appreciated..
