Tried connecting to a new internet connection when I moved apartments, randomly froze. I reboot the console and it gave me the "your ps3 was turned off incorrectly last time and data may be corrupted, we'll check and reboot afterwards" it did that and reboot and froze again. I tried this a few more times and decided i'd probably have to factory reset.
Went into safe mode, noticed "rebuild database" option and did that, ps3 works perfectly now.
Only issue is that now the console can't be activated with my account. It says there's too many already which im assuming is this console before I had to reset it, and my old ps3 that's at my parents house. Unfortunately i'm not 100% sure about that because on my devices page it says i have 4 ps3's which doesn't make a whole lot of sense and when I go to the "deactivate all" option it say's I've used that too recently even though it's been well over half a year since i've had to use it last.
Unsure what my options are but im pretty frustrated.
