As far as I know, up to this point :
When a PS4 user elects to delete a game from their HDD the title and all of the downloaded & installed add-ons associated with it will be removed from the system storage..
As of today, there are instances when the user may want to remove a game install to free up space (especially for games that the user owns a physical disc copy of) without removing all of the add-on content, as well. If and when the user re-installs the previously deleted title, the user must, once again, download and install the add-ons..
This is terribly inconvenient for some users for several reasons :
- Time spent downloading add-ons, again.
- Internet bandwidth used to download add-ons, again.
- If user-owned content is removed from PSN Store becomes unavailable then there is no viable way for the user to re-acquire the content.
Please consider implementing a content deletion method that would allow PS4 users to choose whether to delete the 'main game title install' and/or the 'Add-on Content'.
