I am FURIOUS! It has been 2 years and PlayStation will not fix and update this issue! When you launch a ps2 classic on PS3 the controller is not recognized, and the USB ports shut off, preventing you from playing the game. This means if you buy any ps2 classic from the PlayStation store, you cannot play the game. PlayStation has made me waste my money, and shows no intention of fixing this issue. I DEMAND they fix this bug or I will not use PlayStation any longer. You have made one more Xbox customer!
