The PS4 "stopped working" on the Samsung TV out of the blue. It recognized something was connected, but no image and no sound. The Xbox continues to work fine. I moved the PS4 downstairs and tried it in two other TVs... a Bravia and a small Samsung. It worked on both. I tried it again on the original Samsung, and no luck. Then I connected it to the Bravia and other Samsung again. This time it would not work on any of them. I tried two different HDMI splitters. I've read every forum I can find and tried every suggestion within reason. This happened a few years ago with my PS3 when I took it out of town. When I returned it would not work on any other TV. I ultimately sent it in, was given a new one, and it worked. I'm about to look at sending this one in, but wanted to put it out there for ideas first. My suspicion is that it's HDCP related, but there is so little on this topic...certainly nothing with success stories. Very frustrating.
