Ok, so ive been told before that one reason sometimes you can have all the options set on your ps4 to auto update, leave it in rest mode, but come home from work, to find it hasnt : Is because the ps4 sends out a request at set times ( alot of times its overnight) to try to find any updates while in rest mode. This is super annoying and kind of makes the feature alittle useless at times.
So i have a really easy solution for this : Why not add a button on the playstation app, that forces your ps4( thats in rest mode and connected to the net) to search for any updates for any games your have as well as a ps4 update ? That way , we can tell it when to search outside its set times. Seems like a no brainer to me. How about Sony add this feature , so tired of coming home for my updates not to have downloaded and installed while im at work. Then sometimes it has. Please add this button!
