So I've read the forums and havn't ran into the same issue as everyone else who is having trouble connecting their PS4 to a hotel's WiFi.
I was able to log onto the browser and select the Hotels terms and agreement, so that isn't the issue.
I am able to search the internet but still cannot log into any game multiplayer (specifically destiny).
When setting up the enternet connection, I used: Wifi-Custom-Select Hotel Wifi-Manual-Input PS4 IP Address, updated the subnet Mask, Default gateway (Same as IP address), then used googles 8.8.8.8 DNS, secondary DNS 8.8.4.4- MTU Settings Automatic (1500)- Do not use proxy...
When I select Test connection it obtains the IP address, Internet Connection, but always times out at Playstation Network Sign-in (Cannot connect to PSN within the time limit Error CE-33987-0). Sometimes when I use a different Subnet Mask, I can get the PSN successful, but the the NAT Type fails.
I even called the Hotels IT department to add my system to the firewall- They did. (I will be here for several months)
I feel like i've tried every fix i've seen online, but to no avail. Any thoughts?
