Strange colors and CE-34878-0 error, bad GPU?

I spoke with customer support earlier today. I wanted to see if anybody had any information of what this is I'm seeing on my console.

As of yesterday, I am no longer able to launch games. They immediately crash seconds after with the CE-34878-0 error code or if they do manage to run, the graphics are really messed up with lots of  colors scattered everywhere.

At first I thought it was the Division having issues, but I also tried Until Dawn and Diablo 3. Both of these games crashed with the CE-34878-0 error too. I was able to get the binding of isaac running but I can sometimes see large, black triangles in strange places.

I've noticed the black triangles in binding of isaac before and just thought it was a graphical glitch. Also, in January, I had gotten the CE-34878-0 error code and crashing while launching and after loading my Tropico 5 save files. There were no issues the next day, so I just shrugged it off.

I have tried to rebuild the database and initializing, reinstalling the game(s) and the patches for them without any luck. I am able to log in and see the home screen, friendslist, etc. I just cannot play any games. I do not want to keep attempting to start any games up because they end up hard locking, forcing me to pull the power plug (pulled the plug about 4 or 5 times today). I've backed up all my saves, pictures, and videos just in case.

TLDR

-owned brand new since December 2013

-kept cleaned inside and outside after warranty was up, little to none dust inside or outside

-Strange colors

-All games, as of Monday, crash shortly after starting them with CE-34878-0 error

-Tried reinstalling games and patches

-Tried rebuilding database

-Tried initializing

--------------------------------

Until Dawn looks like this when I start it and then crashes. Is it the GPU? I tried doing some research and have come across a little bit of information stating when you see 'artifacts' it means the GPU is going bad.
