After my second controller's thumbpad ripped just after one year and moderate use I called Sony Support spoke and told them this has happened to 2 of my controllers. They said it's the first they've heard of it and because 3 months over 1 year warranty it is not covered. I informed them it is a known issue, but they would not admit it. Asked if I buy a new one if this issue has been repaired and they said there is not an issue. So i asked if I could talk to a manager or someone who I can let them know this is an issue. I was then informed that the complaint email address has been shut down but....wait for it. Write them a letter!!! and send it to PO BOX 5888, San Mateo. California 944 02-0888. Wow Sony way to keep up with the times and have irate customers write a letter. Unbelievable!
