Need some input from audio experts...

I just bought this soundbar the other day, upgrading from my previous setup, which was the older 2.1 model from the same company.

Anyways, I'm nowhere near an expert at setting this stuff up perfectly.  I am running my video on an HDMI cable straight to my tv, but running my audio straight from the PS4 to the soundbar using an optical cable.  So when I go to the sound settings, I put it as such:

Primary Output Port: Digital Out (Optical)

Audio Format (Priority): Bitstream (DTS)

The only thing I can't really figure out is the difference between the three audio formats (Linear PCM, Bitstream (Dolby), Bitstream (DTS)).  I figured the Bitstream (DTS) is the best setup for the 5.1 "surround sound" setup I got with this soundbar.  Obviously I'm not going for top of the line movie-theatre quality sound or anything of that nature, I'm just trying to get the best out of this soundbar, which seemed to be a good deal.

Essentially what I'm asking is if the setup I just described is getting the best out of my PS4 and soundbar together?
