Ok, so I've been having this problem for about 4-5 days now, and I have searched for a soulution for HOURS and am yet to find one.
Problems
1. My brand new DS4 conroller is unable to turn on my PS4 while pressing the PS button. There is literally no sign of light, and no it is not dead.
2. When U plug in the faulty controller to a USB cable, the controller flashes a yellow/orange light ONCE then turns off. At this point I am still unable to even log onto my PSN account. *Please press PS button* screen. Whenever I reset it, the same problem happens. For about 30 minutes I am constantly spamming PS button and resetting controler and it finally turns on.
3. Now I'm able to use the controller, but after about 20 minutes the PS button stops working while everything else works great. I'm scared to turn off PS4 or reset controller because I know the same problem would happen.
Anyone experiencing this problem? Please help! I have tried PS button + share and no lights. have tried resetting controller, nothing. Have turned on/off PS4 multiple times, still nothing.
